A few days ago I had the most Special Mommy Moment ever! My friend Tiffany had been watching Gweny while I was at work and had convinced her to stay up until Clint and I got home. After getting home I picked her up and took her upstairs to go to bed. I changed her and we went through our routine, in the middle of one of her "night-night songs" she puts one hand on my face then looks at her sippy cup and puts it down on her changing table. She then put that hand on my face and looked deeply into my eyes forcing me to look at her. Then very seriously she says "I ya ya", I smiled and with a tears in my eyes I reply "I love you too". She smiles and then grabs her sippy cup and gives me a big hug.
It's moments like this that make all the "bad" times worth it. I love being a mommy more than anything and am SO grateful for my little girl. I think it's so important to write these moments down so that we don't forget them. Think for a minute on all those little moments that you've had with your special one(s) and write them down in a journal or on a blog. Cherish them. You'll want to reread them when your special darling isn't being such a darling.

Very Sweet! and I'm so glad you wrote about it! I haven't done the best at that over the years - I've scrapbooked a page or two about some cute things here and there but poor Sophia is way behind in that department! Thanks for the reminder!
That's so cute! Don't you also feel like you appreciate her so much more since you had to work so hard to get her here?
Absolutely! She is the light of my life and having her helsp me feel so fulfilled! I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mom. :)
